Dr. Cox

Dr. Susan Cox is originally from Hermitage, PA. She received her nursing diploma from Jameson School of Nursing in New Castle, PA and her Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. Dr. Cox has worked in the health care field for over 20 years. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, she moved from PA to Raleigh, NC where she worked as a registered nurse in CCU/ CICU and held positions as supervisor, preceptor and unit manager. She spent most of her career training nurses and other members of the health care team as well as helping to develop training programs for nurses.

In 2002, Dr. Cox and her husband moved to Daytona Beach so her husband could attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL. Upon his graduation, Dr. Cox followed in her husband’s footsteps, changing her career path.

She graduated with academic honors in 2009 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. And in 2010, she and her husband moved to their forever home in Ormond Beach.

Dr. Cox has spent most of her chiropractic career working alongside her husband in multi-disciplinary practices. Although she enjoyed working side by side with her husband, she is thrilled to be an associate with Lombardo Chiropractic and be closer to home. She is committed and active in community outreach programs and is happy to now have the opportunity to serve the community where she lives.

When she is not caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her two Shi Tzus, Toby and Charlie, her husband, Martin, and her mother, Helen, who lives with them.
